We were recently instructed by an insurance provider to investigate and rectify issues at a property where a Wethertex external wall coating system had been applied approximately four years ago.
The homeowner had reported lifting and bulging within sections of the coating. Following a detailed site inspection, it became clear that the original installation had not been completed to the required standards, with shortcomings identified in the preparation process carried out by the previous subcontractor.
As an approved and trusted Wethertex applicator, our team was appointed to undertake the necessary remedial works. The existing defects were carefully addressed, and the system was reinstated in full compliance with current Wethertex application standards and best practices.
The attached stage-by-stage photographs, kindly provided by the customer, document the restoration process from initial inspection through to completion. These images demonstrate the importance of correct preparation and installation when applying external wall coating systems.
We are pleased to report that the customer is extremely satisfied with the finished result, and the property has now been fully restored to the expected Wethertex standard.
Projects like this highlight the value of experienced, accredited applicators and the importance of following manufacturer specifications at every stage of the installation process.
